This Georgia lottery retailer license guide is for informational purposes only. SuretyBonds.com does not regulate or manage licensing for lottery retailers in Georgia. Contact the Georgia Lottery Corporation for the state's the latest official lottery retailer license requirements.

Step 4: Purchase and file a Georgia lottery retailer surety bond (if applicable).

After you submit your application, the Georgia Lottery Corporation will advise if you need to purchase and file a Georgia lottery retailer surety bond. A Georgia lottery bond ensures lottery retailers comply with regulations established in Georgia Code and protects the state and public if you fail to remit funds owed to the Georgia Lottery Corporation.

Bond amounts are determined on a case-by-case basis but don't exceed twice the average ticket sales for the retailer’s district for 2 billing periods. You can apply for your Georgia lottery retailer bond online 24/7 with annual premiums starting at $100.

How do I renew my Georgia lottery retailer license?

Georgia lottery retailer licenses are valid for 1 year from their issuance date and must be renewed before their expiration date.
