By posting a private investigator and detective bond, the principal (private investigator or detective) agrees to comply with the provisions of the Acts of Congress 47 Stat. 500, 79 Stat. 1307 and the Private Detective Business Regulations as outlined on the bond form. If the principal fails to do so, the bond protects the state and any person aggrieved by the principal’s actions.
