Why do I need this bond?

Georgia immigration assistance provider bonds are put in place to ensure that principals (immigration assistance providers) conduct business according to law and fully comply with the provisions of O.C.G.A. 43-20A-4, which is also referred to as the Immigration Assistance Act.

The bond protects the state and any person who suffers, as a result of the principal’s noncompliance, from financial loss up to the full amount of the bond.
